Being one of the many events that brought residents from Bandar Baru Sri Klebang together to celebrate Deepavali, fostering unity and harmony among the members of the community. We had 400 people attending the Deepavali open house at our new show home, Oak on Sunday 13 Oct.
An artistic ‘kolam’ in front of Oak show house added festive cheers to the premise. Visitors sat down and drew it out together, layer by layer with coloured rice. The outcome was amazing as a lot of effort was needed to create a colorful kolam. A Kolam is an important part of Deepavali as it functions to welcome people to their homes during the festival of light.
Visitors got to experience the art of Zen by joining Louisa in her Mandala Dot Art Workshop. Other activities included free health check, Diwali themed arts & craft. Visitors also enjoyed a popular treat synonymous with the festival of light, Murukku, one of the delicacies that most visitors would look forward to the most.
May this Festival of Light shine on our BBSK residents to live as a peaceful & harmonious community.
