Back in 2001 when we launched our ambitious Master Plan of Bandar Baru Sri Klebang (BBSK) there was a real desire to turn theory into a reality; the squares on a map into homes and businesses, into jobs and education, and in turn into a thriving community.
Aim of the Master Plan
The aim of the Master Plan is to create a town with a reputation as a great place to live, learn and play. It is designed to give homeowners and investors the confidence that BBSK’s ambition is matched by a clear vision and ability to deliver.
Today that vision is clear and the momentum of development has been phenomenal. It’s a town that’s maturing gracefully, with more than 2,200 homes, 33 acres of green spaces and parks, over 40 retailers and a recreation centre known as The Centro. It has a golf driving range, a 25-meter swimming pool, tennis courts, cafe and gymnasium.
High demand for homes
It is a sweet spot for starter and mid-market buyers. With easy access from North-South Highway, the town is close to AEON Klebang shopping mall, Poi Lam Schools, banks and commercial hub Klebang Centre Point.
Its reputation has blossomed and the next phase of development has a waiting list of captivated homebuyers. This year, double storey link home Cypress smashed records to be the fasting selling home at BBSK, with all 54 homes snapped up within weeks from their respective launch dates.
Family Friendly Living
This next phase of the Master Plan will see 119 new Cypress and Aspen homes, along with landscaping improvements and playground equipment.
Launching in October, the new phase of Cypress will add 54 units, which will be split into two parcels. Featuring four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious backyard with a standard build-up area of 1,775 square feet. This new phase will be ready for occupancy from September 2019. Meanwhile, Aspen is planned to launch in Feb 2018 with 65 units. At the standard buildup area of 2, 198 square feet, each unit contains four bedrooms and four bathrooms. This double-storey link home is receptive of current trend towards modern contemporary aesthetic. Priced from RM393,800.
General Manager Lim Kam Foo is the man in charge of future gazing. Preparing for the next three to ten years is a priority for Mr Lim and his team. It’s not by chance retailers, restauranteurs, petrol stations and a soon-to-be Honda Ban Hoe Seng Auto showroom come to the area.
Mr Lim comments: “We are ambitious for the town and people can see this is the place where they can live because of choice of schools, they can easily commute or do business from here. We do not work in isolation, to make this community happen we lobby for local infrastructure and work alongside local council departments, NGOs, infrastructure service providers, local businesses and above all our residents.
