A Prosperous Start to the Year

The Year of the Snake slid in fortune to the lively celebration of Kinta Properties’ Chinese New Year open house this year.

Held on the third day of the lunar new year, we welcomed a vibrant performance of the lion dance to bless our new homes and all those present at the Caper single-storey semi-detached show homes in Bandar Baru Sri Klebang, Ipoh.

In keeping with tradition, the auspicious day was kickstarted by a heart-thumping display of firecrackers, followed by more entertainment from members of the Teng Yi Cultural & Arts Club.

Claps and cheers erupted from the crowd as the young performers attempted their gravity-defying acrobatic acts. Positive energy and good fortune were felt all around as they leapt from pole to pole to the rhythm of the drums and cymbals—a true testament to the new year’s prosperous theme.

Making a special appearance to spread more blessings and wealth for the year ahead was the God of Prosperity. He definitely earned a place in the children’s hearts when he distributed ang pows to their excited cheers.

Young attendees also demonstrated their artistic talent at the arts and crafts booth while others displayed their competitive side by trying their hands at the games booth with exciting challenges including Beat The Timer Challenge, Gyro RC Car Challenge, and Fortune Pick.

To top off a most memorable celebration, our guests were feted to a halal buffet lunch consisting of delicious Chinese dishes.

It was with great gratitude that we concluded the celebration with a warm send-off and wishes for a prosperous year ahead. The attendance of our guests at our masterplanned township had truly made the day more auspicious and memorable. Until next year, Gong Xi Fa Cai and Wan Shi Ru Yi!
