Young and old sprinted their way to Bandar Baru Sri Klebang on the auspicious morning of Saturday, 21 February 2026, to welcome the Year of the Horse at Kinta Properties’ annual Chinese New Year celebration.

The festivities began with a vibrant lion dance by the Teng Yi Cultural & Arts Club, blessing all who gathered at the developer’s Clove 2-storey cluster show homes. To add extra ong to the morning, firecrackers were lit from the first-floor balcony, showering the ground below with a lively sea of red.

The excitement quickly built up with a heart‑pounding 12-Season Drum Performance, followed by a thrilling high pole lion dance. Gasps filled the air as the young performers executed their daring moves with flawless precision. And when the gravity‑defying act concluded triumphantly, loud cheers and applause erupted from the crowd.
A special appearance by the God of Prosperity brought even more joy, especially to the little ones, as he handed out ang pows and blessings for the year ahead.

Guests also had a fun time at the games corner, challenging themselves in activities like Race to Finish, Shoot the Mandarin, and Shoe the Horse for a chance to win prizes.
Meanwhile, children were seen happily trying their hand at Chinese calligraphy and paper‑cutting art at the arts and crafts booth, guided by their parents. There was also a long queue as guests young and old waited patiently to pose for photographs with our horsey-friend!

To complete the memorable morning, guests were treated to a halal buffet lunch featuring a selection of delicious Chinese dishes — the perfect way to end a festive celebration filled with culture, community, and good fortune.
