A groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction work for Ban Hoe Seng Auto’s new Showroom and Service Centre at Bandar Baru Sri Klebang took place on Friday 5 January. 

Even the rain could not dampen the spirit and the support of the guests. Director of Ban Hoe Seng Auto Dato’ Lim Si Boon led the traditional ceremony with a speech and then shovels were dug deep as the team sported construction hats and the guests cheered as they huddled under umbrellas.

State of the art Honda showroom 

Opening in June 2019, at more than 40,000 square foot this state-of-the-art Honda dealership will be a magnificent showcase of green building architecture and the latest in customer service design. It is targeting the highest-level sustainability certificate, platinum for Green Building Index, to become one of the greenest buildings in Malaysia.

Top-level environmentally friendly features maximise resource efficiency and minimise waste, energy and water usage.  Large glass panels and skylights optimise natural daylight; combined with energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and motion sensors to automatically switch on and off when a person walks under it.

It will feature an air conditioning capture and rainwater collection system to self-irrigate the surrounding landscape, flush toilets and wash cars.  A green living wall will bring a breath of fresh air to workers throughout the day. While smart screens will proudly display the energy and water usage in real time to visitors.

New showroom for Perak

The expanded showroom and service centre is a welcome investment to the area, which will create new jobs and attract more retail opportunities.
